Heat, hot day, good food. happiness, fix bike rim. Yue Liang(moon light). bike through night till dawn. mountain shadows, shin shin(stars) dream-like. crossed a metal hanging bridge, peaceful morning stillness. found spot near creek. swimming-sleeping.

we ate mashed potatos, potato pancake, yak meat and a few other dishes. Mmm yak meat is so good, and the gravy was delicous!
Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong
One of my first days in Hong Kong. I walked through the jungle from my hostel which was on a mountain, right into Hong Kong city. It's interesting how Hong Kong can go from green wilderness to City so quickly.

We watched some monks doing their daily prayers in a monastary. It was so funny, I have a video of 3 monks who were late and they sprinted to this circle and the leader hit them on the bum with his stick.
River just out of Jinghong, Xishuangbanna, Southern Yunnan Province
I went on a bike trip from Jinghong to Menghai with some friends in February '08. We stopped here to rest here, wash clothes, sleep and eat lunch. It was such a hot day.
My bicycle in Ma On Shan
April 8th . I found a beach just out of Ma On Shan down a village path. Locals were passing me with buckets full of clams, scallops, musles and sea cucumbers so I went to check it out but only found one big muscle. My running shoes smell like sea-water.

Lazy at Tiger Leaping Gorge
this horse could barely carry me. This lady had to go behind him and practically push him uphill. Not only that, the path was so narrow that he was tripping over his hooves too. Poor guy.

Everyone was waiting for me, I spent hours in this temple village. It was beyond incredible. It was built in the 1700's. There were stairs inside leading to unknown rooms that I felt the need to explore...

My Prince Charming
Tiger Leaping Gorge, Northern Yunnan Province. Anna and I did this hike just before New Years last year. It's one of the deepest gorges in the world and will soon be flooded because a new dam is being built.
